From China to Lagos, Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently living his best life while traveling around the world for his annual summer tour with Nike. As the two-time League MVP shows off his fifth signature silhouette to a global audience, The Swoosh is simultaneously preparing the Zoom Freak 5’s first set of Team Bank colorways.
While the ornate level of detailing and layered aesthetics doesn’t necessarily adhere to a simplistic two-toned color blocking, the silhouette instead offers a much more unique take on the bare team-based ensembles. Dressed in either pitch-black or light grey, the Zoom Freak 5 stretches the aforementioned neutral tones across everything from the stitched leather overlay to the knit base layer and mesh tongue. Elsewhere, the tongue tabs, lace loops, tread and profile swooshes engage in a striking crisp white contrast within the grey pair while the jet-black model reverses the tones of the midsole and tread underfoot.
The Nike Zoom Freak 5 TB is expected to release over the coming months. In the meantime, the pairs can be seen in official images below.
