Grade school-exclusive offerings from The Swoosh typically tend to lean toward a playfully colored palette. Recently, however, a number of youth-sized solutions have begun appearing in “Triple-Black” treatments like this Nike Air More Uptempo.
In connection with its Air Max 1 counterpart, the Scottie Pipped-endorsed pair extends pitch-dark hues across the entirety of the nubuck-dominant tooling. The latter flat texture envelops the model’s base layer while the jet-black color matches adhere to the laces, tongue, elastic straps and pull tabs above. A seldom shadow grey trim illuminates the colorless cracked leather of the enlarged AIR lettering and the bulbous heel Swoosh whereas the sole unit underfoot cleans up in a matte black conclusion.
