Nike has made minor adjustments to the traditional “Black/White” design of the Air More Uptempo.

The Nike Air More Uptempo continues to play an important part in the brand’s lineup of nostalgic products.
Ahead of summer, the Scottie Pippen-associated pair has emerged in a classic “Black” and “White” color scheme. While not a one-to-one replica of the original style from 1996, the latest offering comes close to the one worn on professional courts during the NBA’s “golden era.” A pitch-dark nubuck takes on the bulk of the upper, with “colorless” contrasting arriving around the giant “AIR” text on the sides. Swooshes on the toe box also follow suit, matching the miniature logo on the midsole’s both sides. Air Max units and their accompanying outsoles carry on the two-tone arrangement from up-top underfoot, honoring Wilson Smith’s iconic design in the process.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch soon.
