The Air Force 1’s Color of The Month series is still going strong after a year’s worth of releases and renovated color blockings. However, the Bruce Kilgore design’s sleeker 1984 construction has strayed away from the meme-heavy “Triple Black†colorway, that is until now – albeit affixed with jewel swooshes.
From the upper’s clad buttery-soft tumbled leather to the thick nylon laces and rubber midsole, the entirety of the upcoming composition is draped in jet-black hues, save the crisp white old-school Nike branding inscribed along the insoles. A stark contrast to the collections, white-dominant uppers and colorful swooshes, here the jewel checks peek into a pitch-dark abyss imbued with a glossy finish.

In other news from the Beaverton brand, the KD 16 “Aunt Pearl†releases on October 14th.
