On July 1st, the “Sport Red” Nike Air Max 1 for children will become available.

Having launched in “Big Bubble” form in March, the Nike Air Max 1 is back in a classic “Sport Red” color-blocking for kids.
Previously seen in retailer photos, the pair is set to launch in Grade School, Preschool, and Toddler sizing. The sneaker features a reduced Air Max unit underfoot, but the upper falls in line with Tinker Hatfield’s iconic design blueprint from 1987. Hits of white and grey complement the titular ruby hue, filling in the gaps across the forefoot, mid-foot, and heel. Underfoot, the midsole’s foam compound keeps things clean, with the waffle-patterned outsole opting for a classic black finish.
Enjoy official photos of the pair in Grade School sizing, as you wait to catch a full-kids run on July 1st.
