The Air Jordan 1 Mid showcases an “Off-Noir” elephant print design.

In recent memory, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has gone from widely overlooked and ridiculed to mostly just the latter.
Ahead of autumn, the silhouette has emerged in a “White,” “Black,” and “Off-Noir” color scheme. At quick glance the pair resembles the ever-popular Nike Dunk High “Panda,” but further inspection reveals elephant print transplanted from the Air Jordan 3 across the profile swooshes and ankle underlays. The mid-top offering is the latest trim of the original Air Jordan to receive the textured pattern, continuing the brand’s tendency of self-reference. “Wings” logos on the lateral ankle keep things simple, as does the Jumpman branding on the tongue label. Underfoot, tried-and-proven sole units round out the understated color scheme with a straightforward two-tone finish.
Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and expect a nike.com launch soon.
