Synonymous with his sixth NBA Championship, Michael Jordan’s 13th signature silhouette has gone on to become one of the most routinely retro’d silhouettes from his historic on-court discography. Each season the panther-inspired sneaker assumes a series of OG and fresh colorways, most recently complimented by the “Playoffs”, “Black Flint” and “University Blue” efforts.
Thanks to first-look imagery from trusted sneaker insider – zSneakerHeadz – the dimple-stitched ensemble will be joining the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” next spring with a “Yellow Ochre” accented outfit. While previous imagery showcased the latter in a more prominent role, the silhouette is instead expected to follow a dominant “Blue Grey” color blocking.
Accenting the crisp white tumbled leather side walls and tongue, the aforementioned greyscale tone introduces suede textures across the heel and midsole whereas the golden yellow tint is instead reserved for the tongue’s embroidered Jumpman insignia. A jet-black panther paw outsole underfoot brings a clarifying hue to the brightened palette while the staple panther eye emblem affixed to the collar assumes its luminous green allure.
The Air Jordan 13 “Yellow Ochre” is tentatively scheduled for a Spring 2024 release with a retail price of $210. In the meantime enjoy a potential mock-up of the upcoming pair below.
