The Nike Air Max 1 for grade school kids is cured with a refreshing “Tropical Twist”.

Most typically associated with the Air Max 93, the Air Max 1 has recently chosen to revitalize the iconic “Dusty Cactus” color-blocking from 1993 with a touch of purple hues.
Crisp white mesh panels, light grey leather overlays and jet-black nubuck mudguards remit the early 90s aesthetic to a tee.  Elsewhere, titular teal shades introduce one of the mainstay tones from the color palette along the profile swooshes, tongue tabs and collar lining. What’s more, the Tinker Hatfield design takes a quick trip to 2004, featuring the subtle purple hits that assumed the women’s Air Max 90 Essential.
Enjoy a detailed look at the grade school-exclusive Nike Air Max 1 “Tropical Twist” below as we await further release details.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Calm Mule’s latest take comes anchored in a clad-black execution.
