The Nike Air Max TW has returned after a short hiatus to start the summer season. While the Tail Wind solution was lost to the Beaverton archives for a number of years, the late 70s aesthetic is ever-present in this recently revealed teal-accented effort.
Anchored in a monochrome introduction, the Max Air tooling sends soft “Off-White” hues across the pair’s mudguard, knit upper and quarter overlay. A juxtaposing collection of jet-black shades envelop the tongue, inner lining and tread underfoot bringing further clarity to the palette while a chrome finish is applied to the heel counter. Elsewhere, the silhouette once devoid of color explores a seldom lime green deployment at the eye stays and lip of the forefoot whereas complimentary light blue lace loops oppose the dark teal cushioning system below.
