After months of building anticipation and first looks at upcoming colorways, Nike has officially announced the first silhouette to reignite the Kobe Bryant brand this coming Mamba Day on August 24th.
Officially unveiled during the SNKRS “Live From the Archive†episode on August 10th, the previously revealed “Triple White†take on the Kobe 8 Protro has since been dubbed the “Halo†colorway – seemingly inspired by the immense impact of Bryant’s life after tragically passing away in January of 2020. Crisp white hues cure the entirety of the low-top solution, casting an angelic effect throughout one of Bryant’s most beloved signature toolings.
The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Halo†is scheduled to release on August 23rd via the SNKRS app. In the meantime, enjoy a detailed look at the pair’s official images below.
