The 21st chapter of the Nike LeBron saga has just turned its first page as the debut “Akoya” colorway recently hit retail. Up next is the “Purple Rain” iteration later in October, followed by this Black/Particle Grey iteration in early November.
Although not an official “Dunkman” release, the pairing of black and bright green shades only reminds us of that insane mid-air silhouette established by King James during his first-ever regular season game back in 2003. Finished with a matte black upper, an oily iridescent green on the heel, and particle grey accents on the Swoosh shadowing on the lateral and the outline on the medial, this LeBron 21 release indeed does its best attempt that the foregone saga.
This LeBron 21, which was recently on display at the Nike World Basketball Festival in NYC, is expected to drop on November 3rd, 2023 in both adult ($200) and GS ($160) sizes.
