Throughout the spring and summer months, Nike has been attributing gingham plaid patterns to a number of lifestyle offerings. After preparing an ensemble of Air Force 1s and Blazers affixed with picnic tablecloth swooshes, the Nike Dunk Low extends the collection’s most dominant use of the checkered print to date.
While past iterations employed the summertime detailing restrictively, the women’s-exclusive offering cures its smooth leather overlays in the white and faded pink print. Elsewhere, the Peter Moore design is further entrenched within the pastel-centric palette, casting subtle soft pink shades across the tumbled leather base layer, canvas tongue and flat laces. Illuminating the profile swooshes in a crisp white allure, the sole unit underfoot cleans up in a neutral accent, finished by a rose pink outsole.
