It’s only been a little over a month since they released their adidas Superstars, and yet Dime is already moving on, teaming up with ASICS just in time for Paris Fashion Week. Together, the Montreal-based skateboarding brand and the Japanese footwear icon are bringing attention to a relatively forgotten silhouette: the GT-2160.
Previewed in Paris, the Dime x ASICS GT-2160 features an understated colorway comprised near entirely of neutrals. A cream tone is used across both the Tiger stripes as well as the adjacent overlays, while two different gradients dress both the midsole as well as the mesh base. Silver metallic finishes are then layered throughout the shoe, highlighting everything from the “Dime” branding to the decals and foxing adjacent.
Enjoy a detailed look at the Dime x ASICS GT-2160 right here. According to the brand themselves, a release is slated to land on June 22nd exclusively at Dover Street Market in Paris.
In unrelated news, the Jumpman officially debuted the Jordan Luka 2 earlier this morning.
